Help with Engine Mounts

Morning,

Swapped the pinto for the duratec at the weekend and it appears that the engine sits higher. Currently I have the Burtons 50mm rubber doughnut engine mounts and I know that you can buy these thinner, at 35mm. That said, I could really do with some that are 25mm thick.

What have others used, or ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Mark.

Hi Mark

What about changing the donut to 34mm and then altering the engine mount that bolts to the engine

You may be able to drop it another 10mm that way

Good idea and that's an option, although the mounts that I have already come out at quite a flat angle. If I tried to move them lower this would make them quite flat so I am not sure what strengh the triangulation would have.

If I can't find any thinner then that might have to be the solution.
