Help how do i get fuel out a tank
I have just changed my car, and i want to get some fuel out the tank its a Vectra C diesel.
can i just remove the pipe on the fuel filter and turn the ignition on and pump it out into a can

Full tank only filled it last night

Either use the return on the IP as mentioned, syphon, or if you can't then get into the engine bay and put a tube over one of the incoming fuel
hose connections, and then syphon from there. Bonus if the car has a manual primer bulb.
If you've got ramps or somewhere to drain it into then draining it from underneath is the quickest way.
If it's a common rail diesel then you can drain it like you would on a petrol injection (take the fuel rail return pipe, and simply turn on the
ignition, the pump will start circulating till it's empty as it won't build up pressure.)
On some cars if you can't syphon and don't care about the fuel filler you can just take a long bit of steel and slam it down the filler
neck, it'll break the mesh stop.

Hi all my friends
Today i asked at the main dealers how to remove fuel out the tank they tell me to remove the cover under the rear seat and remove the pump / sender
that's what they do

Pretty sure the vectra c has quite a long pulse when you turn the ignition on. Remove the fuel feed pipe (back of the engine on the drivers side),
extend to pipe into a can and turn the ignition on. When it stops pumping turn the key back one click then forward again.
