Couple of questions around brakes
Hello!
Bled my brakes (1st time) recently, using a kind of easy bleeder that kind of worked. Now I have a couple of issues and not sure it's done
properly.
1st: When the brake peddle is pressed, there is a "skushy" noise on the rear line, near the "T" that splits the tunnel line to
the wheels. Does that mean it has air inside?
2nd: Could I have gotten me in trouble because that part of the line is higher than the calliper (thus, higher than the bleed nipple)?
On a side question, when I pushed the car around to test the brakes the wheels squealed a lot, like if rubbing (partly because they had break oil all
over). I believe the noise is because the rear wheels have loads of negative camber and toe-in (I still need to setup the geometry). Is my hunch
correct or can it be another problem?
Thank you all for reading!

What rear axle have you fitted [ Disc ]? and are the calipers the right way up ?
On the MK indy you have to remove the rear calipers and turn them over to get the bleed nipple to the top to bleed the system
I don't think the pipe been high will stop the system from bleeding
Sorry i cant help on the last question except look and see if it is rubbing

I dont really like easy bleed gadgets.
The only sure way is using someone, (swimbo), to pump the pedal while you open and shut the nipple, start furthest away from master cylinder and work
your way round.
as Jacko said, make sure the nipple is at top of wheel cylinder/caliper to get the air out.
The air in the pipes will work its way out.
As for the squealing, lift each wheel to see whats happening.
For just moving the car around the build area, you can roughly set the tracking by just sighting the alignment from the rear i.e get the fronts in
line with the rear, this also makes it easier to push.
hope this helps.

Hello!
Thank you all for replies!
The rear has Sierra discs. The nipple is on top, so that one is OK.
I really need to get someone to help me, then. Swimbo is a problem since for her to be able to come help, we need to put the kid at the grandparents.
And if that happens we end up finding several other things to do more fun than bleeding brakes
Eventually will recruit my father...
I'll try to set tracking and general suspension setup soon.
Once again thank you for your help! Cheers,

That sounds all kinds of kinky and more than a bit wrong!
