FS - heavy duty battery cables

Removed from my project 205 GTI and no use to me, but might be for someone else.

Two heavy duty battery cables, terminated with crimped ring terminals.

Approx. lengths are 1.70m and 1.95m.

Not sure of the mm2 size, but they're very thick. They were used to relocate the battery from the engine bay to the boot of the car.

£13 delivered or £10 collected from Basingstoke or Winchester.

Hi Nick

I could be interested in this for the winch I'm putting in the back of my Landrover.
I'll have to check they're long enough. I'll have a look tomorrow.
Are there any markings on the insulation regarding the size ?
It needs to be real heavy duty as the winch draws a lot of current when it's pulling me out of a bog.

If you're getting wedged in the bog you really should think of going on a diet.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Hi Rob,

No markings on the sheath, but diameters measured with calipers are; cores @ Ø8.5mm and sheath @ Ø11.5mm.

Hope that helps.

Nick

No worries, forgot about them myself until I nearly killed myself tripping over them last night
