Le Mans 2026
Hi,
Copy of email i sent to regular Le mans folk, in case any one interested in next years trip, drop me a pm.
Edd.
Good morning/Afternoon/Evening,
Hope all are well! I’m sending this as you have been to Le mans with me previously or have shown interest in coming next year. I apologise if you
don’t wish to hear from me, and many of you will have received the information more than once….
So Next year’s race date is Sat/Sun 13/14 June 2026.
Some of us have booked the ferry: Newhaven Dieppe: Tuesday 9th 2300 – Monday 15th June 2359.
Tickets for grandstands/general entrance/car parks go on sale 4th November. This is the early presale for Aco members, but it is generally a bunfight
and hard to get stands before they sell out! Parking goes quickly also, GE probably not a panic! Due to ACO restrictions on Numbers, buying many
tickets in one go is now impossible so we have to coordinate a few of us that are ACO members to buy as many tickets as we need! It’s always a fun
morning!!! NOT!
Camping will of course be at Spay; this can be booked mare leisurely in 2026!
Please get in touch with me if you are interested in joining the fun! Feel free to join the initial ferry times above, book own crossings if preferred
or I can book also. I can get a small discount via Caravan Club, but unsure if limits on number of tickets I can buy. For example, I got the grant
total of £20 of my crossing about 10%!
Obviously, the priority is getting tickets for stands/parking on the 4th!
Thanks all, and looking forward to reuniting at our second home in a small field in France that will be forever England (or Scotland, Wales?)
In the first instance just reply to this email for more information.

I'm getting tempted to go - one to cross off the bucket list. Could you give me an indication of costs involved?

Hi,
I'll try:-
My Ferry:
Newhaven Dieppe - Tuesday 2300 no cabin arriving Dieppe 0400.
Dieppe Newhaven - Monday 2359 with cabin arriving Newhaven sometime early morning (tide dependant) was £245.
Race tickets:-
General entrance: €122 max, possible some discount depending on how we buy them, weeknd only (fri/sat) tickets are cheaper of course.
Parking: We park in EXPO but tickets are limited and are €66, free parking is available if you don't mind a walk!
Camping: About £65-70 based on 4 nights.
So, based on 2 per car about £250 each? Grandstands and the ripoff (IMHO) ACO hospitality add to this.
Any questions go for it, and let me know if you are up for it as ticket sales/bunfight is 4th November!

Went this year in a group of 4, Friday - Monday.
Just an amazing experience.
Very very little sleep, but the race buzz keeps you awake.
Lots and lots of walking and very hot weather.
Highly recommended

I've done lemans many times, first was an animal weekend c1988, also done lemans classic many times. but I think if I were to go again I would
get a room at/near the university for the whole week, and get the tram to the circuit. and see the medieval town too

Saturday morning and a trip into the old town and a spot of breakfast has been my routine for the last couple of years. Sadly probably wont make this
year, but will be back the year after.
