xflow plug gap
does anybody know the plugs gap on my xlow 1660cc (aldon vaccumless points dizzy).

Depends on the coil used
As a guide
Ford ballasted coil 0.032"
Lucas unballasted 12 volt 0.025"

I use the highly scientific "hacksaw blade" method. I set them so I can get the untoothed egde of the blade inbetween and call it right.

I think its the second type - its a westfield loom with lucas coil - might have to check.

Never failed yet. Lost all my feeler gauges more times than I've lost all my hacksaw blades (and bits of hacksaw blades).

plugs for a 1600 xflow 30 thou. Thats with an un ballested coil. (Straight from book)
