Twice nightly Whitely

The Mayor of Wetwang, I'll miss him and his crap jokes on Countdown.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Very sad. Some people you would expect to go on forever.

Such a shame.

Apparently the "old dears" used to get upset when on "Ceremonial Opening" he'd take his girlfriend instead of Carol Vorderman whom they thought was his wife

His wit and ability to laugh at himself made him a star in his own right. His taste in Jacket/Shirt/Tie is how I'll remember him.

God rest in piece Mr Ferretman

Although this joke is in moderately bad taste, I'm sure he would have laughed...

"Richard Whitely would have been amused that the contributory factor in his death, pneumonia, was a 9-letter word that used all the vowels!"
