If you are going for std BRG then why not go for gell coat unless you already have the bodywork? much cheaper than a spray job.
Heres An Indy in BRG....

donut your car looks awesome! a real beauty and just what i was looking for. just another quick question tho, what is the difference between gel coat
and spray coat? what are the advantages and disadvantages for both? i dont get my chassis and body work till end of march but planning is well under
way!

Ok 1st thing, that car is not mine...it belongs to conrodkid on this forum. If you have BRG you MUST!! have a yellow nose cone!
Gel coat is a sort of paint that is painted onto the plug before fiberglassing. The end result is a coloured bit of bodywork or whatever. The
advantages of this is that it costs nowt cos the companies offer a range of colours. It can be polished but some colours fade in sunlight after a few
years especially red. Another advantage is that you can paint over it if you don't like it anymore.
Painting can be expensive. If you are doing a 7 then it would be better to get everything painted before fitting. The downside to his is that you must
be very careful not to scratch the paintwork.
I have already scratched the gellcoat on my car but it should polish out ok.
Hope this helps.

yellow nose cone
donut what are you thinking! A BRG car with a yellow nose cone, r u mad? if you r having a BRG car then yellow trim is at most more than enough!and
maybe a bit of yellow in the engine bay. i think that a bit of ali with BRG looks immense. i was thinking ali sides and chip defenders on the rear
arches, or maybe even some carbon fibre?i think that would look cool
comments welcome
kind Regards
Alex

Gentlemen, gentlemen !!
Ali bodywork , BRG nosecone/wings and rear wings. Revolutions with polished rims and yellow centres. The only colour scheme involving BRG which is
correct.
