Mongol Rally 2006....

Afternoon folks.

A workmate of mine has foolishly (IMHO) decided to drive to Mongolia this summer as part of the Mongol rally 2006. he is taking a team of four people, split between two Vokswagon beetles that have seen better days.

He is looking for sponsorship/donations for the charities involved and also things to help with the journey (no matter how small. I donated a pack of cableties (100mm length) and he is over the moon!). Also available is advertising space on the vehicles that are travelling as part of his team.

A weblink with further details/contact info is: www.yakatak.co.uk

Have a look, and be generous! It is for a good cause.

Cheers
Andy

He is not mad........he is a hero in our eyes. We have the car but we are short of time this year so we are planning the 2007 trip, however it is in doubt at this stage as they are having problems donating the fifteen or so cars that made it last year. Problems with red tape ect and a change of goverment head are making the redtape more difficult than usual.
Good luck
