Mountney M Range SVA Pad - Wanted

Hi There
Has any one got a SVA centre pad for a Mountney M range steering wheel that they wish to sell.
Please send me a U2U if you have with how much you want for it.
Many thanks
Adrian

They're not terribly great to be honest- the rubber clips that hold them on tend to do a fairly poor job so you have to use vinyl tape as well... Otherwise Mr SVA presses on it to check its give and it falls off!!! Unfortunately, I prefer the look of mine with it on so it's a keeper....

Westfield make a SVA pad for their steering wheels- I suspect they're Mountney with a badge on them- they might have some left...... Then again, they might charge silly money for putting the badge on....

You could make one.... Wouldn't be any worse than the Mountney one.... Polystyrene ceiling tile cut to shape, sand (chamfer the edges), cover it with a layer of self-adhesive padding cut oversize, use the excess rapped round the steering wheel arms to hold it in place. Then either leave it the colour of the foam or cover it in leatherette... Happy days. Only shabby bit will be the "ends" of the pad- wrap a bit of black vinyl tape round (like I had to do @ SVA anyway)....

That's what I'd be tempted to do anyway!!!

Actually, just had a look @ the Westie sight. Rather expensive steering wheel and they don't do the pad separately.....

Tiger-racing list them. They might have some left in stock?!?!

Also, some people have passed without them if they've use button heads (no sharp edges apparently).... But equally other SVA centers have failed cars without them and non-compliant steering wheels....

For SVA I borrowed an old mk1 mx5 wheel - it's a momo with a suitable pad & bolted on the same PCD as my proper one. The kind lender got it back the next day :^)
May be worth trying to find one & taking a look
