bec propshafts

What type of prop do i need, is a singal sierra one the best for alteration, and is it long enough on it's own, and i'm guessing that i need a center bearing for support.

hi mate the sierra prop is 2 piece

it bolts to two mounts in the middle sidewall tunnel when you order an MK indy BEC yours should still have the mounts?

its the engine end that needs modding for a BEC by MK

My chassis is the older one , without the extra rail in the engine bay, the only supports i have in the tunnel, where used for the type 9 .

Just been looking at your website Hellfire, it shows the center bearing mount, was it mounted to the tunnel side wall, and also what size bearing do i need, i've seen different sizes on ebay.

brad unless Im mistaken the prop should be the same all the way up to the engine as what your pinto one was its just MK have to modify the end for a BEC

or as hellfire suggested you can have one specially made

but the sierra prop will do the job fine

so you bolt to the diff then theres a side mount in the tunnel where the UJ is

then it goes straight the the engine, thanks

ive just received mine from mk. Like you went from pinto to bec, so cec prop was too short. So sold that, and bought one from mk.
