Front cycle wings

A couple of questions really.

1 Where about have you monted your cycle wing brackets to.

2 How have you fastnened you wings to the brackets.

again pics would be great.

Bracket attached to the 3 threaded holes in the back of the upright....

Wings to bracket secured by two bolts drilled through the GRP and through the bracket... Some people bond them but I prefer the bolted approach.... Then again, the main problem I have is that the spacer tubes (to create the distance between the upright and the bracket) is that the spacer is made out of ali and it gets crushed by vibrations when driving- I'm replacing them with mild steel tubes....

1. The uprights, but used MAC#1 brackets.

2. PU adhesive, nothing else, so far so good!!

Don’t use flat bar to do the vertical parts of the frame instead of the normal tube as I tried this and it simply is too wobbly.

I got my cycle wing brackets from locostparts.net. Very well made, sturdy & look good drilled and bolted the wings with stainless caphead allen bolts,I only done this late last night, i'll post a pic on later









If it doesn't fit MODIFY it!!
