remote thermostat
What is my best option for a thermostat as the on of the bike was mounted to and went through the frame. Is there a different one i could use of
another bike?

Yup
The ZZR1100 D has a remote thermostat. I've got a spare if you are interested. 25mm in, 25mm out, plus temp sender.
I'll see if I can find a photo.

There are a hand full of remote thermostats on ebay. Search "zzr thermostat"
