Splitting bike clocks

Maybe a stupid question.....

Just bought an unfinished 2007 MK Indy with a ZX9 B3 engine fitted. Am thinking of trying to source some ZX9 clocks to keep things simple for now.
First, do they have to be from a B3 or will earlier or C engine clocks work?

Also can you split them up to mount individually rather than as one unit as on the bike? Is there a single circuit board in the back of the plastic housing or is it just used to mount the rev/speedo/ warning lights together on the bike?

Cheers

Rich

My ZX9 clocks are off a C model and its just one circuit board so they won't split.
