ASH3 - 3/4/05 at 10:43 PM

Indy n the Dutton went for the first time
nice compact show almost too far for
us to go over 300 mile round trip! Good
show of cars esp GT40s 2 beasts. Well
back home n yes the Dutton blows another
engine, still it did just manage to get home
with the Indy! JUST!!!

Ronin - 4/4/05 at 05:36 AM

Good show. Zetec's car was on the MK stand. Boy does that interior look good. There were a lot more manufacturers and traders compared to when I last went 2 years ago and plenty of cars parked up outside.

They had a rolling road for people to see how fast their car would go. One unfortunate guy with a Fury had his Pinto decide to spray its entire contents of oil around the engine bay, not a pretty site.

Entertaining to see Robin Hood trying their hardest NOT to sell anything. The aluminium Lightweight of theirs looks rather ovesized.

Met a few people including our own Ben Copeland ( did you get the GTS car finished? ), Ant from ARA Racing who has a rather interesting kit in the pipe line and was bullied into joining the Kent Kit Car Club.

Agree, the show was good this year, the new hall is a great improvement.

I could easily be talked into an Aeon.
