Morning,

I recently acquire a 1989 Westfield 7 narrow body. Does anyone know where could i get a 3d cad model of its chassis?.

The reason is because i wouldlike to make some modifications.

there was one here once , but its seems to have gone as the page does not load for me , it used to though.

i guess you can email the sites designer if its still been maintained.

i do not know of any others. i may have kept the file for it, but dont hold your breathe.

Many thanks Westy1994 for your response.

I sent an email to the administrator of this website, but he does answer yet.

If you have the cad drawings please let me know please.

so sorry , searched all my old folders and nothing, i have one pic of an early late 80's or early 90's chassis leaning against a wall, this was for sale and i went to see it.

on the plus side - for me- whilst looking for you , i found a load of pics i had forgotten about, lol.

hope the site owner gets back to you.

The Wayback Machine is your friend.

If you ever need to find stuff from old websites, always worth visiting this site: -

http://web.archive.org/

It's been crawling and archiving sites for years. It doesn't archive big stuff, however on this occasion it does appear to have archived the zips.

Go to this copy of the website from 2013: -

Click on the images, and the zip files are there.

We did all the mods to the early westfields for racing, effectively what became westfield the race chassis.
the vast majority of that work was carried over in to our LA chassis witch are built for pure race / competition use.

I have all the CAD for our LA chassis from when rollcage was FIA tested, but its a wider version than the original Westfield 39" chassis but similar wheelbase.
Depending on what mods your looking to make i can advise on what does add strength / performance and what doesn't add strength just weight.

Cheers Matt
