IF i went BEC for my locost i think i would like to go Blade. As i know jack about BEC's, what size [cc] and year engine as i don't want cat etc....simple is best!!!

BTW my diff is 3.8

If you really want simple and cheap/cheerful then an 893 engine is the way to go!

limited to the 893 and POSSIBLEY (not sure) the early 919. If I understand what I have read here correctly it must be pre 1995 to not need a cat.

Maybe I read wrong, but I'm sure someone will be along soon to correct me

It's deff pre 95 for cars so i expect it's the same for bike power.

893 for no cat test, 3,8 diff on 15's will give about 110 ish top end speed but will get there in a bit of a hurry and 0- 60 in aprox 4 secs.
3.62 diff on 15's will push speed up to 125 ish and from experience doesn't affect acceleration noticeably

thats if you can get the power down or dont stall it like im having trouble doing atm! Mine is around 120 max speed, but fook me does it get there quickly!!!!
