Another pre iva problem, I have written to Ford technical centre at the Walsall address to tray and get a pre iva letter from them to prove the age of a cvh engine and the letter has come back with a note written on it saying. ,sorry there is not a Ford dept here anymore, any one got any ideas? Is it still a requirement to have a letter to prove the engine age or will they accept anything else? Any advice gratefully recieved

Cant help you with the ford technical department.. But last year I used the Burton power catalogue to prove the age of my pinto at the IVA!

Burton Power catalogue lists the all and should put you right....

Its also on burton power website, I just took print out of that.
