I'm hopefully about to start putting a 240 axle into the back of my MK1 escy.

Now somewhere down the line I remember reading on a forum about using the volvo stuff up front to keep the wheel studs all the same.

BUT!!!!

I can't find the info anywhere, anyone got any ideas or am I talking bull as usual

Could have been the one PPC magazine are doing?
Might be worth a browse through their web-site - seem to recall they were modding the rear axle sometime mid-last year?

one of the volvo axles are the same as ford.
We looked into this before for the p100 project.
Cant remember which one.
As for the bolt patterns hub adapters or a redrill is the way to tackle the problem

Yeah I had the first couple of parts of the escort build in PPC but nowhere handy keeps it so I didnt get to the bit with axles and stuff

Tried the website but couldn't find anything about the escort .

I was hoping not to re drill the back but keep it all volvo for the handyness of parts.

obviously If I cant find where I think I seen the bit about volvo hubs to ford legs re drilling is the way I'm going to have to go.

Drop PPC an email. They are normally pretty good about offering advice.
