I have 2 used but in good condition A048R's in hard compound. Would people recommend staying with the same compound or would mixing them up be ok?

Thoughts being to use the hards on the rear as they will get up to temp quicker and soft or mediums on the front. Or should I just get 2 more in hard compound?

All thoughts welcome.

Cheers, Rob

Hard to say without trying! What have you been running? Do you find that the rears overheat too quickly?

Hi Rob.

You want Mediums all round.
In fact i have a good few that are a couple of years old if you just want them just for track days. Ill have a look and let you know whats there.

Cheers Matt

The only real well to tell would be have all compounds and measure the temperature of the tyres after a few laps.
TBH, unless your competing to the nearest 100th then your unlikely to notice.
