For future reference, one Sierra upright with hub, no other fittings: 5.4kg

(Measured on two different scales and averaged)

I'd be interested to hear other uprights' weight.

Does anyone make a lightweight version of the sierra upright?

Looks nice & shiny though......

They used to, but their website now says they do Cortina uprights, but with Sierra Hubs, so a bit of a hybrid...

Sorry to confuse....

Exactly the same as a pair of mx5 ones then (5.4kg/pair)!
Mx5 standard front calipers 8.0 kg a pair inc bolts and the standard disks are 7kg/pair if anyone wanted to know (mk1 parts)

From HiSpec themselves when I asked:

"The upright kit you are referring to uses a cortina upright for double wishbone geometry, but the hub is designed to use sierra fitment brakes.
the hub does not fit a sierra as we have updated the spec so that it runs double row bearings and a shorter stub axle to eliminate flex."
