Rose Joints

I've noticed people seem to prefer imperial joints over metric. Is there any particular reason?

BTW this is mostly out of interest I'll most likely use metric because I have no imperial taps.

Is there any particular reason why there rated for a higher load? Is it just the case that thats people prefer imperial so they make the better ones in that size?

the imperial size to metric , actually makes the difference .

most race cars use aerospace grade joints, and since the USA has the biggest aircraft industry the high spec joints are cheaper in imperial sizes.
