Myself and Flak Monkey are currently squandering on the idea of getting a GTS owners website/forum up and running, trying to get a rough idea of how many people are on here building/built a GTS?

I know of one in build. It hasn't changed for months, mostly on account of waiting for parts (say no more....).

So maybe 5-5.5 of you out there? Darren must have retired on that lot!

I totally agree with David on this one, i have U2U'd people who have been saying negative things about GTS who have replied saying "Oh, i dont know, this is what my friend told me"

I am currently trying to help GTS get back into the business because their products are top notch. Soon Darren will be returning to this site.

What did some one say Darren is trying to rectify things with customers he has cheesed off, he's not that emortal he won't live that long. Strange that as he won't return any of my calls or emails. Maybe he doesn't want to give back or have 1538.00 pounds he stole from me as this maybe the profit he is running his business from ??

is Darren sorting everyone out cuz i wouldnt mind the parts that i didnt get but he wont give them to me cuz it was nearly 5 years ago i bought the kit.
anyway i am still building it if he would like to get in touch with me to sort my missing bits i would love that.

tom_loughlin built a panther!

I am currently building, very slowely (my own fault), a zetec engined W7DE. I have been making the chassis up myself from Darrens plans. There was a GTS forum up and running but barely any threads and it didn't seem to last long. It would have my support if it were to be revived though.

Flak will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there is any real need for a separate GTS forum other than that if anybody mentions G** or D****N in here it prompts a hail of abuse which is not very constructive.

I think Flak set the forum up to get away from that and found that in fact there are very few issues that are specific to GTS, other than customer relations which has been done to death.

im building a pinto W7DE it nearly done just, failed on a few minor problems at SVA

check my photo archive its guna get sprayed white and black and have a zetec fitted next year!

i bought the kit off ebay the bloke had only fitted the floor pan then sold it me lol

the body panels from gts are rather shocking in quality i think im gunna replace most of the with alloy ones next year!

Just had a peek now, awesome job, keep up the good work, any plan as to when you will iva it roughly?

well it went for sva in april but failed on a few small things should hopfully be going for retest in 4-6 weeks! just its a litttle hard to work on it at the min as are lass has just had baby so not much spare time

i am building a GTS hybrid..

its a home built chassis but darren has supplied the bodywork,seats,de-deon, prop,wing stays,remote gear lever and probably a few other bits ive forgotten

all with no problems...

This is my car built by me in 2006-early 2007 and is now residing in sunny Cyprus. (as are both myself and CalvinX)



Car in Cyprus

I am able to use the car every day from around the end of March until around Christmas time.

The car has generated much interest on the Island as Cypriots are car mad.

I have spoken to Darren re the possibility of importing kits into Cyprus. Watch this space....
