Six-piece fibreglass body panel set in black for MK Indy classic, Locost, Haynes
Pete Jordan - 25/5/26 at 02:59 PM

A set of black fibreglass body panels I bought as part of a MK Indy sportscar kit a number of years ago, when the Keenan brothers still owned MK Sportscars. Unfortunately, the kit build stalled for several years, so I didn’t get beyond trial fitting the panels and, when I started building the kit again, I decided to buy a new set of body panels in a different colour. I presume that, since the Indy Classis was effectively a Locost chassis, the body panels might be useful to someone doing a Locost build. Photos of all the panels are in my archive, as is a description of the condition of each each panel.

I'm looking for £500 for the set.

Clearly the buyer will need to collect the panels from my house, which is a few miles from Great Malvern in Worcestershire. In fact, I live only about 2 miles from the Three Counties showground, where the National Kitcar Show is being held next weekend, 30th/31st May, so if you are coming to the show it will be easy to view/collect the panels. If you have any questions, please message me.

Bump. Is there nobody building a Haynes/Locost who needs some cheap bodywork?

If only they were yellow! Still quite tempted though. Mine are getting a bit worse for wear after 20 years

You don't fancy a colour change? I'd have thought after 20 years, a new look might freshen things up!
