Track focused Westfield/Fury wanted
Trigger1 - 24/2/17 at 08:48 PM

Hi,

I'm back on the look out for a suitable Westfield/Fury if anyone has or knows of anything for sale for circa 7-9k please let me know.

The only restriction is no straight cut gearbox.

A cage would be a bonus but not a key requirement and a rear hoop is fine.

Thanks

The ggr Westfield ugg posted is a very quick car.its embarrassed many higher powered, more expensive kits at various sprints! It does have a straight cut box but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
I can't believe it hasn't sold!

Trigger1 - 25/2/17 at 08:05 PM

What is the straight cut box that ugg posted a link to like to use? Is it very noisy (I.e. Like a reverse gear but all the time?).

Would that car be ok for Trackdays or is it more ratio'd for sprint/hill climbs?

daniel mason - 25/2/17 at 08:23 PM

It looks to me like the ex Stuart hill car,I've seen it at various sprints if so.
This is a link to the Blyton results last time I saw it in 2015. 67s is a very good lap around there. You'll see lots of other massively more expensive and powerful cars from higher classes we'll behind on times.
1 second in sprinting is a large margin by the way!

More info on the Westy here

http://forum.wscc.co.uk/forum/topic/122947-westfield-sei-1600-toyota-4age/

This will be a serious track day toy, very well developed, well proven and a bargain at that spec - if your focus is track over road the SC box will be a bonus not a drawback. That box is designed for the car's performance and will match it perfectly on track.

Helmet and earplugs solve everything!

Trigger1 - 2/3/17 at 08:21 PM

Still looking I have one possibility and hoping to arrange a viewing, but still keen to see if there is any other out of the box, ready to go cars available?

kingster996 - 3/3/17 at 10:41 AM

Might be over budget at £10.5 but would be a cracking track day toy
