Anyone got a mx5 NB diff with the 4.1 ratio they want to move on ?
or just the ring and pinion ?

I may well have a couple of these going spare - need to check the ratio but should be a 4.1:1. I am about to fit a 4.778 ratio from a Kia Sportage into my sprint / hillclimb MX5. I'll have a look and let you know

Just checked and yes I do indeed have a 4.1:1 ratio diff going spare here - its an open diff with 41 tooth crownwheel and 10 tooth pinion. All of the NBs run the 7" diff which this is - but is from my very late mk1 so shouldn't make any difference. It was removed from the rear pumpkin a month or so and has been stored in box the garage since. Nothing has been touched and all feels nice and smooth - I have another diff that will be getting the 4.625 ratio this weekend that I have been dismantling

I also have another open diff complete with the rear pumpkin that was in my car for 100 miles or so - that should also be a 4.1 ratio but hasn't been opened up at all. I can check that if required.
