Perhaps look at getting one imported? From somewhere hot. More chance of getting a genuine rust free example than some cobbled together UK basket case given a quick respray to hide all the filler and holes...

As these are such rare cars now you really need one that is as complete as possible as even getting hold of trim and odds and ends could break the budget. Even then I expect this will end up an expensive project.

Thanks Whippy . Got my eyes on all the usual places ,Malta,Cyprus,Finland . Hoping for one already with Some mods ie big tunnel, type 9 etc as getting to old to keep building stuff now .

Have a mate who is into all things old school Ford (mainly Escorts) but I'll ask to see if he's heard of anything
