steppers - 16/9/20 at 01:52 PM

Firstly thank you for looking, I am after a working usable Fiat twin cam gearbox preferably with the gear extension would be nice, very hard to find, or my other option is upgrading to something more modern and reliable, but I am thinking the second option is a bit too much work for me.

Cheers for any advice

Ship this extension in from USA. Cheap!

I'm not sure that there's anything wrong with the gearbox; just a crude, badly made extension. If you could obtain the original Fiat extension, I think it would be OK.

Hi, mate how's things,

I did see that gearbox, suppose it is worth a punt at the right price. The 124 remote is different from the 131. like trying to find rocking horse poo. I don't know if the knock up remote was the problem to begin with, or the gearbox was rubbish to start off with.

Try the easy things first. Just change the lever assembly, then if it's still shite think about the gearbox.
