targa top or tbar roof?
Dale - 11/1/10 at 05:59 PM

I have been looking at ways of doing a roll bar/ semi cage. I did a little ms paint on an old picture( the car has advanced a little bit since that last pictures) I think the rear windows could be lexan or even just louvers aka the 69 mustang and just leave the windows out on the back..
I thik the center section of the roof other than the structural tubes would be easily removable( and fit in the boot.

You should have done this as a poll.

I vote T Bar, they look cooler

whats the difference between t-bar and targa? i thought they were both the same?

T-bar has a central bar from front to rear, Targa does not.

T-bar for me.

Make it like a spine, running from the nose, over the split windscreen, into the t-par, into the split rear screens. That ties it all together.

Or not.

Morgan Aeromax.... good look!

The aeromax was a little bit of insperation. As well as the 63 corvette.

T-bar would allow gull wing doors and maybe allow smaller tube in rollbar as there would be a structural piece between the front and back.

I like the t-bar option better.
But how are you going to open the boot if the roof extends that far back and onto the boot?

The roof section would have to be attached to the boot and hinged on the roll bar. Similar to a typical hatchback.
