Where do people buy their windscreens from, preferably London or Kent/home counties ?

I need to replace a badly-cracked screen ASP but people like Autoglass don't want to know because it's not an off-the -shelf item. What I need is someone to cut me a new screen from flat glass using the old screen as a template.

I used these guys Jatglass

They cut a screen from the old cracked one for my Caterham frame for £35 in 4mm laminated glass, and are in Park Royal, not far off the North Circular.

a little off the topic but i wanted to ask what is the type of the glass for the windscreen - a triplex type or the other type (like the side windows)? What does "E" marked glass means?
