Anyone got experience of these as door hinges for a 7? Thats my next project so I need to buy some or need to know where I can get others. Cheers.

I'm using some door hinges on my nose cone, they seem to do the job fine (and they look a lot weedier than those).

Hijack alert! I'll be watching with interest. I have just fitted a windscreen and am looking at fitting short sidescreens (similar to those seen on many Cobra reps.) and/or doors. For sidescreens I guess they would need to be fairly stiff to allow the position to be adjusted but not flap in the wind.

WEIGHT OF EACH HINGE 350 GRAMS

So more than 1.5 lb per side, seems a bit overkill to me !

And each hinge is 3 inches tall and 2.5 inches wide when open. A bit big?
