handbrake cable

What handbrake cable fits the Mac1 ZR chassis please?

Had a cable supplied with my unfinished project I've bought, but tried it earlier and the diameter of the holes in chassis for cable to pass through/seat in are too small by quite along way.

cheers.

I'm sure the guys at MAC will tell you if you give them a buzz.

Your chassis should use a standard sierra cable.it will need cutting in half and wrapping around the lever quadrant then clamping together. That or shortening by cutting off one end installing then shorten to length and a new end attaching

Some piccys in my archive

Yeah cheers.

Have cut the cable, but its the plastic inserts that are supposed to go in the holes in chassis that won't fit
.
I have checked the part number of cable, and it is a sierra one.

Seems odd. How much too small are the holes? Not just thick powder coating obstructing the cable
Best bet is a quick call to Mark or Col in the morning. Sure they will have the answer

No not powdercoat, the little rubber boots on the ends of cables won't fit into the holes, thats how much too small they are!

I bet you need the seperate cables they also use. Used them on my Worx build.
