Mk Indy zx9 engine

Hi all I have stopped my pinto engine into a zx9r and I have it all running and it's fine the issues are how do I wire up a speedo to the standard clocks all parts are off a c2 model .ive seen a speedo heeler what I've read about but not to sure how it works and how and where does it pick a sensor up from any help would be great or if anyone has parts for sale let us know

You need a speedo healer. This takes a pick up from the standard ZX9 pick up sensor. You have to mount it somewhere. I mounted it on an aluminium bracket over the propshaft bolts. You then have to work out a calculation based on the wheel radius and the rear diff if I recall and then move a few switches on the speedo healer. It's all pretty simple if you follow the instructions.
You need a wiring diagram for the ZX9 to show the wires to tee into off the clocks. There's plenty of advice on here and wiring diagrams. I do seem to reca,, either a yellow or pink wire was involved.

Speedo sensor is in the sprocket cover on the zx9, just in case your wondering where it is.

Obviously you now need to mount it looking at the prop bolts or similar.
