Started my car up yesterday and noticed that the vdo vision speedo lcd display was not working not sure if the speedo works as only run up in the garage the gauge has power to it and the needle did twitch and all backlights work just a blank lcd trip meter.
Is it worth removing it and putting it in the house incase it is damp or anyone know if I can send it away for repair.

My VDO speedo has just done exactly the same, speedo is still working but the LCD milometer/trip display .... blank.

I have had a fiddle with the wires and earth but nothing, it's a pain and i'm thinking new unit unless anyone can shed some light.

Common problem, a few days in the airing cupboard will usually sort them out.
