Coil drivers on a megasquirt? what coilpacks are you using and what ignition dwell etc. are you using?

Surely moving to a direct driven coil would be a better idea? It's what I'm doing with mine, using the LS type coils.

I need a new one as mine looks like its blown a circuit on the main chip. I have borrowed one for now just to keep me going. (short term)

Sounds to me like you need to identify and fix the cause before you toast another.

Dwell settings i think. I am going to completly re-wire just to be safe though.

What drivers are you using, have you upgraded to BIP 373 the original VB921 has a habit of burning out.

If you have managed to kill a bip 373 you have something massively wrong in the settings.

I've got a V3 I've just removed from car if you are interested, mapped for a 2.0 Blacktop zetec by Bailey Performance.
Let me know what you think it's worth
