ok, a bec, so doesn't need much of a battery, except, you have to have some form of reverse gear -usually electric for bec

I would have gone for a lithium battery. They're twice the cost but weigh nothing..... I think I paid about 65 for mine and its still doing sterling service after two years. Top it up occasionally. Unlike my lead-acid batteries which despite being on an optimate still used to die within 18 months.
