Looking for somewhere that sells a 51 or 57mm hose barb welded on a flange suitable for mounting on fuel tank to replace a welded on aluminium type with threaded end. Been searching various websites, but most are offering the flange with a cap fitting welded on. Saw the perfect thing but it's in the States, so shipping is ridiculous.
Can even consider a mild steel barb at 51 or 57mm and I will weld on a flange myself.

Link above shows a few different types. The one with the 90 degree barb/hose end would suit my needs better.

Do you really need barb hose or a swaged tube would be enough?

Or at the end of this page, there are flanges with one threaded end and one barbed end. So if you flip them over or remove the threaded end, you'll have what you want I think.

Thanks, you're right I don't require barbed type only a swaged end. This might be my issue with finding what I require on internet, is not knowing the terminology. Thankfully there is loads of knowledge sharing on here. This site is a goldmine of knowledge. Wouldn't have thought to search for "connecting neck" either. Cheers for that.

This project is costing a small fortune. I remember reading the first print of "Build a sports car for £250". Spent more than that just on the fuel neck, hose, float switch and gauge. Still enjoying the build process though.

So... basically you're looking to fit a section of hose between the tank and a filler cap?

If yes, doesn't need to be barbed, swaged, or anything fancy like that. If you have enough material left over, you could just cut the threaded portion off your current filler neck and jubilee clip onto the plain bit, or cut a big hole in the current cap, lathe off any knurling and mount the hose to that ;-)

That had crossed my mind adamR20, but neck on threaded part is only 37mm dia. Just means I would require a reduced hose. Might still go this route.
I didn't want to fudge this part of the build as fuel will find a way out if not completely sealed.
