Anybody been out today?
emlyno - 30/11/13 at 06:42 PM

Took advantage of the sunshine today. Went from Shrewsbury to Llangynog, over the top to Bala (one of my favourite roads) Then to Cerig y Drudion and the Evo triangle and home via Llangollen.
The roads were very quiet, did see a red Westfield on the A5 near Corwen.
120 cold and dry miles.

Went to Tesco's at 4am this morning cause during the day all the Christmas fodder shelfs are empty....

Had a blast around the A5 and A38
Got some realty nice new tarmac and Islands by me..
The old crossflow was giving it plenty,
Lots of point and squirt and plenty of sliding about

Following on the A5 theme, I was out in the South Leicestershire area a bit further down the A5. It was pretty greasy and plenty of sliding around including one brown trouser moment. Haven't owned my MK for long and definitely need to do a track day soon to better explore the limits of the car. Great fun though :-)

Had a quick run today.... Just clocked up 200 miles since IVA but still struggling with poor running.... Doesn't take long to empty a 24 litre tank... Above 3500 rpm runs nice and managed to get it a bit sideways for the first time.... Loving it but need to sort out the running issues....

I went for a run out with the Fraser club north of Auckland taking the backroads. Some fantastic curves and scenery! There were no spare seats so I was following in my Astra and I've got a trucker's tan now. I really need to get my Fury on the road!

It was planned for last week but the forecast was steady rain. Turned out to be clear blue skies. So it was replanned for today, when the forecast predicted showers. Again, blue skies with a few patches of cloud and 24*C.

Just got back from an hour and a half blast in the Haynes. Probably the last drive till spring now
Very slidy from start to finish... and enough to convince me I need to replace the shitty donor tyres
