Copart - reduced membership
Neilwilson - 7/8/15 at 08:35 AM

After signing up to Copart I was always apprehensive about the £50 membership fee, having held out I received a mail about a reduced membership to £15.
Jobs a good un!
Not sure if it is of interest to anyone but you need to call there branch on 0844 875 8837 for the details. Offer open until 28th August.

Might give it a whirl at that money... cheers!

In the last few weeks I have watched an s2000 cat d go for £1050, an Impreza wrx cat d go for £750 and a Astra SRI hail damage go for £300
Certainly worth the occasional punt.

I've only just seen this company and it seems pretty interesting. There are a few cars I would be interested in but how does it all work? If I win an auction can I get it delivered and does it cost much for delivery?

Neilwilson - 7/8/15 at 09:50 AM

Wrt to delivery I honestly don't know, until now I have never been able to buy. Immediate guess would be that you need to arrange your own collection/delivery.

Similar to first post, mail from Copart now offering £10 membership. Pretty decent to be fair, I bought for £15 and have helped 2 of my friends buy. Straight forward bid to win and arrange own collection.
0844 875 8837 before Feb 20th.

I would recommend especially if your looking for a donor or are interested to restore a salvage.

Over the last month or so prices have increased slightly (guessing due to the VIC being no longer necessary?), have seen plenty of S2000's go for under 2k - a 51 plate cat c just sold for £850!

Maybe is of some use to someone.

Do you still have to phone in Neil ?

Neilwilson - 11/1/16 at 10:03 AM

You need to phone to register for the reduced price. Then you need to send over some ID together with payment.
