Fook 14 I want to see the end result it is an absolute work of art.

coyoteboy - 26/9/16 at 07:08 AM

Reckon it's going to be heavy. There's a lot of additional metal gone into it and I know from experience that the running gear for the gt4 is damned heavy. Should be a riot to drive though.

Got to say though, I'm all about the process, so I'll be disappointed when it's finished.

woodster - 26/9/16 at 10:30 PM

B&gger how did I miss 13 ...... Sorry all ... Walks a way red faced

HowardB - 27/9/16 at 06:01 AM

I thought that it was due to debut at the FoS this year? Did anyone see it?

If crazy minis are your thing check this out.

https://www.gumtree.com/p/austin/classic-mini-1972-tax-exempt-380bhp-4x4-cosworth-powered/1189181518

Its a shame they did not make more effort in reducing the track width.

There is a full build blog on passionford.

May I ask where you watched it as I can only find the teaser that has been running for weeks ??
The site says it will be available from 20.90 hours.

CosKev3 - 25/11/16 at 08:25 AM

I made a small donation to the costs of making the videos as I liked them,so you then get the next episode emailed through before it goes public

Ironing???

What's the matter with you man???

I stopped doing that years ago...it's a waist of time, electricity and sanity.

On the Binky topic I really enjoyed the first few episodes, very watchable and great work too. Must go back and see where I got to with it.

CosKev3 - 25/11/16 at 10:52 PM

Bit of a let down after such a long wait IMO

coozer - 26/11/16 at 03:29 PM

I bet 65,000 of them were a bit disappointed ,stretching a bit of material over a gap in a arch is hardly in keeping with the excellent earlier episodes

What did you think of it?

coozer - 26/11/16 at 04:48 PM

Crap innit!

Body filler and resin, not up my street...

Taken that long they should have used a TT Audi 1.8t 4x4!!!

theduck - 26/11/16 at 07:26 PM

If I remember correctly from their Facebook page, they have had busy personal lives including one of them having a baby.

snapper - 27/11/16 at 09:38 AM

With video projects of this type there is a difficult balance between regular episodes and available content.
I understand some of the feelings however the old adage of "Leave them wanting more" works well in this case.
Love the build, love the attention to detail and make do and mend approach, love the humour.

Irony - 29/11/16 at 10:53 AM

I have greatly admired the efforts they have gone to to keep the mini looking as standard as possible. I was thinking that would be very cool if it looked totally factory but with the awesome engine and drivetrain. But in my opinion those arches are simply terrible. To me it now looks like some yooof has put massive spacers on a mini and bodged on some Halfords special arches.

For me the whole point was the engineering challenge of installing that engine and drivetrain in a mini and keeping it looking factory. Now it looks like they have just plonked a mini shell on another chassis. Bit disappointed.

CosKev3 - 13/10/17 at 04:22 AM

Episode 16 is awesome

HowardB - 13/10/17 at 08:08 AM

Cameo roll for someone brushing up the workshop too
