Car audio advice wanted. Which way would you go?

I've just agreed to buy a very tidy Peugeot 107. The stock stereo is a bit lacking so I'm going to upgrade but can't decide which route to take.

I work for a firm that makes car audio kit so I can get some stuff at our cost price.

I could fit our bluetooth module that will work of the OEM head controls and a DAB unit with a remote control. It keeps the car original looking but allows me to stream music off my phone.

For about the same money I could buy an aftermarket head unit with Bluetooth, USB and DAB. We do a fascia that fills in the OEM shaped hole.

Or for a bit more, I could buy an OEM bluetooth / USB head from a later 107. I can get an ISO to Quadlock lead from work to make it fit. But I have to hope that the one I get off eBay has the rear speakers enabled. The later heads had the rears turned off by default and could be turned on by the dealer diagnostic equipment.

I'd like to keep it stock looking but the options are a remote control for the DAB or more expense and a risky eBay purchase. It is not a money no object conversion but I want it to work nicely. What would you do?

I got the Lexia diagbox thingy for our 307...allows you to do most stuff the dealer can.... well worth the money if you can get one compatible with your car...

Looks like someone else has managed to enable the rear speakers using it..

I also have a diagbox thingy, if you can find where the settings are I can see if the option shows up. And I'm only in wolves so wouldn't be far for you to travel if you wanted to try it?

Edit: I've just checked, the device I have comes with pp2000, which I can see online is sufficient to activate the fader option to switch on the rear speakers. I can't see exactly what the steps would be, but I'd be happy to help if you want to go down the newer head unit route.
