I like it too.
I like it so much that the original car that was the inspiration for that, the 1959 Troy Roadster, is the inspiration for my own project.

I started it in 2006 in New Zealand, working on it when time and money allowed, then shipped it to Scotland in 2021, after I emigrated.
Mine uses a 4.3-litre Lexus V8, with a Toyota Supra W58 and Mk3 Supra-based front suspension and steering. The rear suspension and LSD has come from a Lexus IS200.

The chassis is mostly 1.25", 2mm wall box section and is very loosely based on a Seven chassis, but scaled up a bit for the V8 and a 6'2" antipodean.

I started building it to meet the New Zealand Low Volume Vehicle Technical Authority (LVVTA) standards, but I now focus on IVA requirements, which are actually a little less onerous.
I'll be fitting cycle guards and a windscreen, so it won't be quite as dramatic looking as the subject of the video, but arguably more usable.
