Thanks for the replies chaps. I will get some pics of mine uploaded if it ever stops raining!!!

se7ensport....... we need to talk mate! That is a sexy car! Is that roll bar higher than standard?? The splitter, the wheels, the mirrors........talk to me

Im 6'1 and need to gain some head room so my bald noggin isnt above the roll bar. Im getting JK composite seats to lower me a bit but will need a taller roll bar, but ideally will work with the original roof, or with minor mods, Seats.....what seats are you using as they look pretty low?

Ive got loads of questions for you all so sorry in advance I wont bore you too much just yet with them all

Ohhhh before i go to bed.......where do i get a car cover for the Stylus? The off the shelf ones all seem to big?

Quick summary: CXR 13” wheels, Lifeline MSA mirrors from Merlin Motorsport, cage is by Caged/ Cyclone Racing in Radstock, it’s too tall for a standard hood by approx 4”. It has Jk seats, drivers on a runner and passengers bolted floor and bulkhead.

If you are planning to compete or just do trackdays you’ll need a very large silencer, mine is 6” diameter and only just gets under 103 at 3/4 red line.

I’ve wanted to supercharge mine for a while, but Duratec kits are bloody pricey and don’t fit in my available space so lots of mods required.

Cheers for the reply mate.

Does the passenger seat not need lifting to get over the chassis member that goes across the width on the floor pan? The car is for trackdays.

se7ensport - 10/6/19 at 12:29 PM

My car has a lowered seat bar on the drivers side; it’s flat on the interior of the car.

Passenger bar is the same as yours, but the style of seat clears it easily.

Ahh yes, that makes sense now with the seat picture. I will end up using them for driver and passenger then an bolt to the floor. Do you know what the widest seats are that fit from JK?

se7ensport - 10/6/19 at 07:16 PM

I’d makes cardboard template, suspect the widest would fit, might need the outside edge that mounts to the floor fettling, but that is the narrowest point. Without runners to worry about it’s pretty easy to go wide as you can overlap with the inner rail if needed.

number-1 - 11/6/19 at 11:54 AM

Would that still work if i fit straight to the floor and not on runners? Would they still be tall enough to get over the inner rail?

I'm waiting for a call back from a JK engineer to see if he knows what seats would fit without too much messing

se7ensport - 11/6/19 at 08:56 PM

I have 40cm seats fitted, looks like 42 would fit with a trim to the floor mount. I can’t see runners working on a seat that wide without the rear also being raised; otherwise when you move the seat forward it will rise in height.
