Has anyone got a RHE Zero?
Their kit seems good value,
I am looking for a 7 Kit that's comprehensive and good value. A project for myself and my Son ( he's 5 1/2 
)
I have 3 other cars on the go at the moment but We have been watching "Mark Evans, A Race car is born" which has refuled my desire for a
7....
Any comments on the Zero, or any other ideas.
I am not sure that sourcing all the parts needed for a Roadster will actualy be cheaper than the basic Zero,

Not seen one but looks good value.
not sure if the zero is the same, but I have heard the build manuals are tosh and some of the parts are not bolt on, some modification is expected.
That said the zero is meant to be all new so might be different. Does look cracking value though.
Personally i would not buy from them again after the last trick they pulled but thats my preference

I looked at the zero in detail and it does look good value - however for not much more you can get an indy that looks a much better 7 replica - I know they have some good price kits but trust me and go for the MK you will be a lot happier with the finished result for not a lot more money
Yes they "look" good value very comprehensive list of parts and the chassis is not bad , but be prepared to do a lot of refinishing or replcement if you want to achieve a quality finish
MK's prices do not look to bad.

Couple lads round here just took delivery of Zero's, very quick (3 week) turn around and a comprehensive cheap bit of kit.
There's always the Haynes Roadster if you fancy getting really involved
Let me know what they think of it...
I am not sure how much cheaper building from scratch will actualy be? unless I scrounge round to find things like a cheep set of shox..
Donor parts is not a problem,
I guess my biggest worry, is the cost of the IVA and should I bother building and instead buy an IVA'd car and be done with it..

If your worried about cost, you will probably not be able to build it for much more than the cost secondhand (particularly for a Zero if there rep is
anything like Robin hood was). Have a good look at the secondhand values first..
7 replicas can be cheap second had a the moment..
Personally I'd think about MK rather than the Zero (but do check it out as things have moved on with this company)...
Also the cost of build is proportional to how much time you have i.e. making donner parts fit, re-conditioning part's yourself, making bits
rather than buying and resiting expensive parts, as they all add up. Did mine on the cheap, made the body panels ect but it's taken a while
5years, (and 5 house moves that didn't help either!!)..

How's your sheet metal work? If it isn't good (and quick) then get an Indy. You'll get better resale value too, and build it quicker.
do it build from scratch with your boy it will be worth it to have the pic of you both in the car and say we built that

you could by my unfinished fury for not much more! With a proper motor too.
I had a look at the set up at RH as I live near. not the same quality as other kits but you don't pay as much either.

I do have most sierra parts lying arround anyway. Which I guess helps.
