Where to buy rubber?
grazzledazzle - 23/8/10 at 11:14 AM

I need a roll of rubber 50mm wide (approx) 5mm thick (approx) and about 8 metres long. (can be in section of no less than 2 meters.

I want solid rubber to use as a packer, not the neoprene foam / rubber stuff advertised on ebay. Any ideas? I'm drawing a blank.

It sounds like the rubber earthing strips that we used to use on trailers in the RAF.
A search around those lines may help?
I'll have a look.

Depends where you are, but we use our local rubber supplier called Nene Rubber in Peterborough.
I am sure you have local companies offering similar.

What about this place?
Just looked again and it blatently says neoprene, sorry. I'm still sleepy, back on the night shift tonight!
