My best mate
Jon Ison - 24/12/13 at 08:14 AM

Swimbo is busy ironing whilst I type this, at 9.30am we will be at Chesterfield Royal hospital so she can have her lodger removed.

The lodger is a small tumour in her lower bowl, good luck Swimbo, your going to be fine.

Ben_Copeland - 24/12/13 at 08:22 AM

Best of luck. Sure it'll all be fine!

JC - 24/12/13 at 08:23 AM

Best of luck, here's hoping for a full and speedy recovery!

speedyxjs - 24/12/13 at 08:26 AM

Good luck. Hope all goes well

Jon Ison - 24/12/13 at 08:46 AM

She will be, its a recurrence of a illness she was clear of some years ago, she's unique as only 1200 people a year in the UK get this particular type, luckily she's on the radar and it was spotted very early, its only the size of a mole and should come out easily and complete.

fesycresy - 24/12/13 at 08:58 AM

My old dear has had two operations to have tumours removed (10 years apart), not sure of the name but very rare also and in the same region as your wife. Sounds the same.

She'll be fine, Merry Christmas to you both.

Its out, she's home though a little groggy after sedation, they feel confident they have it all but have to wait 3 weeks when they go back to look under the scar tissue left to make sure the little sods been evicted.

Great news....and with that I can mention when I read your original post I miss-read lodger as todger....with the obvious double-take
