I am looking to put a new silencer on my MK ( tim windmills old car) The one thats on is a westfield one, it sounds great but rattles badly and is
looking a a bit sorry compared to the rest of the car that I spent 6 hours cleaning at the weekend - I was going to use a Zorstec silencer I already
had - but it sounds a bit .... quiet !
so am looking for something similar to the westfield but slightly better value .. any suggestions ...
If anyone is looking for a zorstec stainless silencer ( originally made for my pinto Mk and never used then please let me know - comes with adapter
pipe and fitting bracket
thanks
I've got one of 907's cans which are really good.
I think he's making them again, and in loads of different sizes.
Mine is a bit noisy for a BEC, but looks fantastic.

Ive got a luego one ( I think) Im not using which Id part with. I think its too loud and have changed to a long MNR one. pm if interested.
When Tim had the car it had a r1 can but the manifold is/ was a westfield job
has some one swoped the can before you got the car

I can recommend 907's cans - very well made, VERY tidy finish, and effective. You can choose length & size (ooer!) to a certain extent, to suit your needs.
Another vote for one of Paul's (907)
cheers guys will have a look at them
Paul
Just had a new silencer from 907 this week. Couldn't be happier, excellent quality, great sound and Paul is a perfectionist and one of the nicest chaps you could . Thanks Paul.
Well, thanks chaps for the vote of confidence. I feel a blush coming on.
I'm having a break from cans this week.
An elderly chap that lives near me has found a well inside his cottage.
I have an old cast iron pump to fit and a wrought iron grid to make, then cover with laminated glass.
Er, would you like water with your malt sir? One pump or two?
It turns out his dad designed chassis for Aston Martin and he has his dads old DB6 in his garage.
I just can't get away from cars.
All the best,
Paul G
