Does anyone know what grade Oil I need to use in a Getrag 265 gearbox?

Its the conventional box not a dogleg, from an BMW M5 I think...

The one I have on the floor poured out red dextron II, its usual for a gearbox with an oil pump to use auto fluid. Stick in hypoid and you ruin the pump.

An old fashioned ATF ie Dextron II but Rover/Landrover spec MTF94 would be very suitable. It is similar to viscosity to Dextron style ATF but optimised for manual transmisions. It was developed to replace ATF in Rover gearboxes.
