fookin nightmare!

We had this, bought a set of ZX9's, came without the top plate. Bought about 3 different ones before giving in and adapting an incorrect one to fit. Seems to be so many variations of airbox/trumpets etc.

the 'E' model ones arn't to bad to get right, but they are totaly different from any of the other ones (keinin CVR's not CVK's)

here's some pics of my ZX9R 'E' ones if it helps:

They were supplied by Bogg Bros but i dont suppose that makes a difference. they do look like the pics. I'll get the camera out and be back soon

Have taken a few pics but cant upload them. Keeps saying unsupported file? They have CVR, Keihin and G537 ANJU one end and the float diaphragm caps have 899 1 on them. Any of that help?
On closer inspection they look very much like the pic's Mcerd has posted.
Cheers

well they definatly look like ZX9R model 'E' carbs, and those are defanitly R1 trumpets (I had a set at one point)
not sure how to 2 have been made to fit though.....

these are the kind that would have been on the bike,

but as you can see they need the backplate from the airbox to mount them
i.e this bit:

which mounts easily to the carbs using the rubbers that come with it
(the plan is to cut a large hole in the filter backplate and bond/bolt it to the bikes one)

Both zx9r / E carbs the only difference is mine are imports

Lovely thanks guys. Do either of you know which weber jets i get for them? it was suggested that OEM ones would be cheaper but my local dealer wants nearly £6 each!
Cheers.
