duratec oil filter remote take off plate
FuryRebuild - 25/5/12 at 12:46 PM

Hi

Does anyone have a source for these? I notice SBDev and Dunnell make kits that move the filter around 90 degrees, but I want more clearance than that and want to mount the filter at a convenient point. I thought I was OK with Burtons, but they've supplied parts which are pinto based, so no good to me.

Any suggestions otherwise it's the time taking job of getting some ally block and machining something. I don't really want to do this - I don't have time.

OK collective brain - off you go.

I used to run this on my old car.
The remote filter housing was bolted to the end of the foot-well.

If it's any use to you drop me a pm.

Surely the only difference between a pinto remote filter kit and a Duratec remote filter kit is the filter thread? I'd talk to Merlin Motorsport and see what they can do for you.

Hi Deeze

You'd think so. Unfortunately, the mounting plate on the duratec block is totally different to the in-and-out version on the pinto. They're not even remotely compatible.
